Email Communications Policy

This page explains how Matthew Payne Consulting uses email, and our standing policy against advertising this web site, our sending domains, or our services through third parties or deceptive email.

Who sends our email

Business email is written by and sent on behalf of Matt Payne personally, from mailboxes that Matthew Payne Consulting owns and operates on Google Workspace, on domains we own and control. We do not use affiliates, resellers, lead vendors, list brokers, or any other third party to send email that references this web site, our services, or our sending domains. No third party is authorized to do so on our behalf.

What we send, and to whom

Our outreach is business to business. We write to professionals, such as fund managers, financial advisors, and attorneys, about the work we do. Some of these messages are a first contact with someone who has not previously asked to hear from us. We do not run consumer marketing, and we do not send to consumers as such.

Where our contact lists come from

Contact details come from business directories, professional databases, and publicly listed business information, and are screened before use. Addresses are checked for validity before sending. Since October 2026 we also screen out personal mailbox providers and addresses without a name, and we remove any we find. We do not buy or use consumer lists.

Standards every message must meet

• Sent one to one, in the first person, from a real, monitored mailbox that accepts replies.
• Accurate sender identity, subject line, and headers. We do not spoof, forge, or obscure the sender.
• SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are published on every sending domain.
• Any reply that says "unsubscribe," "remove," or "not interested" is treated as an opt-out, and we also honor opt-outs sent to the address below.
• Opt-outs are applied promptly and kept permanently, and those addresses are not contacted again.
• Sending volume is managed per mailbox, and no mailbox sends more than 30 messages per day.

What we do not do

• We do not share, sell, rent, or trade recipient addresses.
• We do not authorize any affiliate, partner, or third party to promote this web site or our services by email.
• We do not send from domains or infrastructure we do not own and control.

Reporting a violation

If you believe you received email from us, or referencing us, that violates this policy, forward it with full headers to abuse@matthewpayneconsulting.com, or reply to the message. We respond within one business day.

Opting out

Reply to any message with "unsubscribe," or write to abuse@matthewpayneconsulting.com. Requests are honored promptly and permanently.
